What is SGPA?

SGPA stands for Semester Grade Point Average. It measures a student's academic performance for a single academic semester on a 10-point scale (or 4-point scale in some Western universities).

How to Calculate SGPA Manually

  1. Multiply the credit hours of each subject by the grade points secured in that subject to obtain Credit Points.
  2. Sum the Credit Points across all subjects taken in that semester.
  3. Divide the total Credit Points by the total sum of credit hours.
